Sodexo is seeking a part time (24 hours a week) Registered Dietitian to work in its Community Health and Wellness Center at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA . This is dietitian will provide general MNT for all age groups for a wide range of nutrition related concerns; gestational DM in pregnancy, prediabetes, weight management, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal disorders to name a few.

The successful candidate will:

• creatively problem solve and make decisions while working independently and within a self-directed team-oriented work environment;

• assist with program development, promotion/marketing, screenings and patient recruitment;

• perform comprehensive nutritional evaluations and follow up; and

• effective write and verbally draft communication for all hospital and departmental programs and activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)(Note:For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
