Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with a deep understanding of FP& A, data warehouses, and financial modeling. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our financial planning and decision-making processes, ensuring financial accuracy and business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current and past financial data and performance, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.

  • Prepare detailed monthly financial reports and projections.

  • Collaborate with FP& A team to prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans.

  • Develop, enhance, update, and modify financial models and analyses.

  • Support data warehouse and business intelligence initiatives, focusing on scalability and optimization.

  • Conduct deep-dive financial analyses using advanced Excel skills, and interpret results to provide recommendations to senior management.

  • Develop strategies to improve financial profitability and minimize risks.

  • Stay updated with industry, financial, and investment trends that could affect business's financial results.

  • Coordinate with other team members in preparing special reports for management.

  • Serve as a mentor to junior financial analysts.

    Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

  • CFA, CMA, CPA, or other related credentials would be a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling techniques and advanced Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong experience in data warehousing and business intelligence.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, an investigative nature, and the ability to communicate complex financial information.

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize work under tight deadlines.

  • Proven ability to identify and drive system and process improvement projects.
