Job Description

An Industrial Engineering company specializing in mechanical and control systems commissioning and decommissioning is looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team in Aurora, CO. As a Controls Engineer, you will design and build control systems for conveyors for various clients within logistics, manufacturing, and air travel industries. You be responsible for programming PLCs and HMIs from concept to completion. You will work with AutoCAD, Rockwell Software, Allen-Bradley hardware, and network design. The position includes about 30% travel to various sites within the US for commissioning and troubleshooting (no more than 5-10 days at a time). This is a 6 Month Contract to Hire (will go permanent after 6 months). A federal background check and drug test are required upon an offer being extended.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree heavily preferred

5+ years hands-on field experience troubleshooting and commissioning industrial conveyer or material handling equipment

5+ years' experience programming PLC and HMI from concept to completion

3+ years AutoCAD design experience for industrial control panels

Willing to travel approximately 30% Rockwell Automation - RS Logic 5000, RS Factory Talk View (Graphics package) null
