As a Facilities Supervisor in Water Services, you are responsible for supervising and improving area performance by leading staff, distributing and prioritizing work, and ensuring communication and training completion on safety, legal, and work requirements. Other responsibilities include promoting collaboration by supporting, leading, and participating in department and area improvement projects. Conducting performance appraisals to create goals and development plans with technicians that operate, maintain, solve, modify and repair site wide UPW, water, ground water, wastewater, and reclaim systems.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

• Your scope will include all operations on innovative Water Services Systems.

• Interact with other facilities teams including engineering, other operation technicians, and fab partners.

• Supervise operation and maintenance of water systems that support facilities.

• Enable your team to use quality systems and diagnose process issues related to water systems such as Reverse Osmosis, Filtration, Ion Exchange, Ultraviolet Light Sterilization, etc.

• Maintains applicable subject area and technical knowledge to make informed decisions and drive area improvements.

• Lead daily operation of the Water Services area – Ensure the team completes on time PM completion., maintains equipment and tools in working order, track certification/training progress for team members, and drives team accountability.

• Develops procedures and training to ensure team performs the work safely, correctly, and consistently.

• Improves area performance and stability by identifying and leading projects to improve area/equipment performance through the use of systemic problem-solving techniques.

• Assists with installation, modification, maintenance and/or removal of facilities equipment.

• Leads shift/area cost reduction activities.

• Drives a culture of Safety and Quality using TPM, Facilities Disciplines, PM procedures and certifications.

• Success in using area processes and equipment knowledge to make informed decisions.

Education and Experience:

• Required: Minimum – Relevant degree and/or appropriate certifications/licensing and/or equivalent experience and/or military training/experience

• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree with one year of supervisory experience and 3 years of technical experience.
