Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Bridgeton, New Jersey
Aerotek is currently hiring a maintenance mechanic!
Description:
Troubleshoot equipment and programming related problems, perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment – including but not limited to controls, filling machines, conveyors, processing and packaging equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Diagnose and perform emergency repairs and adjustments while the line is running in timely and efficient manner
Work with production line operators on changeovers and assist operators with daily operational activities
Support the training of operators, technicians and others at the point of operation
Assemble, install, and test new equipment
Modify/fabricate equipment to maintain and improve the production lines.
Efficiently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment
Participate in clean-inspect-lubricate activities on machines regularly to detect signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections
Carry out routine inspection of production machines for potential malfunctions, identify defective parts and assess maintenance needs
Accurately complete electronic/manual records of work performed
Attend and participate in daily shift meetings
Uphold visual management of the work area
Follows and supports continuous improvement methodologies
Strict adherence to all safety, health, and environmental policies
