Inside Sales Representative – Generator Parts & Service
OPEN TO LOCATION:
Poughkeepsie, NY, Bloomingburg, NY, Holtsville, NY, Medford, NY, Bronx, NY, Newington, CT
Pay : $56,000-$73,000/year (dependent on experience)
Bonus Potential: 10%

Key Qualifications :
Must be computer proficient to be able to use MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; CRM proficiency
Experience working within the generator, electrical, or power systems industries highly preferred
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively articulate features and benefits to demonstrate value
Must have strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to prospect and cultivate accounts
Good influencing skills
Economically motivated
Responsibilities
Successfully sell H.O. Penn Power Systems (EPG) products and services.
Produce targeted sales volume and gross profit for select Caterpillar Retail products
Coordinate with outside sales force to sell to end users and contractors
Influence consultants and architects to specify H.O. Penn/Caterpillar engines and systems
Provide reports on sales activity and coverage
Provide technically compliant, competitively priced project quotations for retail projects.
Review project technical specifications
Create project-compliant bill of materials and services to ensure successful installations
Provide customer quotations that are within profitability guidelines
Follow Caterpillar’s procedures to obtain product pricing special rating request and technical information
Ensure vendors provide timely, project-compliant and lowest priced offerings
Conduct internal and external project development activities.
Maintain communications with outside sales force regarding new and developing opportunities
Maintain ongoing influencing and sales activities with consulting engineer, contractors, and end users
Provide quote activity, opportunity status and market intelligence.
Follow established guidelines for recording and maintain project activities in CRM
Participate in weekly opportunity meetings to report project quoting progress
Provide analysis of won-lost data related to activities
When possible, acquire and communicate competitor technical and commercial intelligence data
Qualifications
