As a Portfolio & Performance Analysis Associate within the Equities team, you will be responsible for overseeing a broad spectrum of performance measurement & attribution calculations and creating solutions for a new and growing product. You will provide the best client service experience by understanding our client's needs and by developing relationships across the organization, specifically Portfolio Managers, Investment Specialists, Middle Office, Client Reporting, and others.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversee a broad spectrum of performance measurement & attribution calculations

  • Monitor data quality and performing compares between computations from different sources

  • Provide regular and bespoke risk and return analysis to portfolio managers and investment specialists

  • Lead initiatives to create solutions to our complex client demands and challenges, and to continuously improve the infrastructure and control environment

  • Create reporting solutions across multiple regional offices

  • Partner with aligned technology team, to implement best-in-class solutions for stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 4+ years' experience in field of performance measurement and attribution with advanced understanding of Equity products

  • Thorough understanding of Asset Management products and clients, as well as portfolio accounting principles, and performance and attribution methodologies.

  • High-level experince working on transformation projects involving performance measurement and attribution.

  • Quantitative skills with proven cognitive and problem-solving capabilities

  • Impressive communicator, with the ability to lead discussions, present business results and influence a variety of business stakeholders

  • Effective relationship management skills to build sustainable and productive alliances across matrix organizations

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Advanced MS Excel skills

  • Proficiency with issue resolution and root cause analysis, including showing the ability to research and resolve issues in a timely manner
