Speech-Language Pathologist (Brooklyn, NY) - Develop treatment plans and provide therapy to infants and toddlers between the ages of 0 and 3 with developmental delays; Analyze and diagnose the nature and extent of speech and language impairments, using special instruments and qualitative and quantitative assessment methods, including standardized tests and dynamic assessments to make a differential diagnosis; Integrate information from standardized measures, informal assessments, and observation into an informed clinical opinion to make adequate recommendations; Create speech and language goals on each toddler's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), addressing weaknesses found during evaluation; Analyze samples of pre-linguistic or spoken communication to identify baseline function and document change or progress made over the course of therapy; Document and data-enter session notes and progress reports based on standardized assessments and clinical observations; Develop and implement IFSP goals and treatment plans; Complete initial evaluation reports and progress notes; Collaborate with caretakers and therapists to develop individualized treatment; Document individual therapy services by charting in department records in accordance with DOH, Medicaid, and Bright Start guidelines; Protect toddlers and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; Comply with federal, state, local and professional standards. Must have a Master’s Degree in Speech & Language Pathology plus 1 year experience in job offered. Require NYS Speech-Language Pathologist License. Range: $72k$85k/year.
