Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description We are offering an opportunity for a meticulous Sr. Financial Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is central to the finance function, performing critical tasks such as assisting in budgeting and forecasting, reporting financial results, and analyzing business performance. This role is a contract position that requires a strong grasp of financial analysis, budget processes, and various ERP solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the completion of operating and capital budgeting and forecasting activities

• Report financial results to regional and global teams

• Evaluate business performance and assist in decision making through improved financial analysis

• Manage both operational and capital item budgeting and forecasting

• Oversee rolling forecasts and long-range planning to aid executive management in strategic decisions

• Work closely with business partners to report, manage, and control operating results

• Prepare monthly variance analysis and scorecards to help functional leaders evaluate business performance

• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures

• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance

• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve accounting and reporting processes

• Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis to the business as requested

• Perform other duties as assigned Requirements • Proficiency in CapEx and CRM systems

• Demonstrated experience in Data Mining Techniques

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Proficient in About Time software

• Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Budget Processes and Expense Reporting

• Strong finance and manufacturing sector knowledge

• MBA degree preferred

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Query

• Ability to use MS PowerPoint effectively

• Working knowledge of SAP systems
