Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist based in Dearborn, Michigan. This role involves full cycle accounts receivable functions, such as cash posting and collections, within a traditional office setting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Address and resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate actions for delinquent payments

• Utilize various accounting software systems for efficient operations

• Employ Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites for data management

• Execute full cycle accounts receivable tasks including billing functions and check processing

• Monitor cash activity and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately

• Utilize IBM AS/400 and Great Plains (GPAC) systems for various accounting functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) is necessary

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 is essential

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites is required

• Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Familiarity with Billing Functions is required

• Experience in managing Cash Activity is necessary

• Knowledge of Check Processing is essential
