Emerson Director, Manufacturing Engineering in EGER, Hungary

AVENTICS is one Emerson's product portfolio and the top tier brand of pneumatic components and systems as well as individual applications. As one of Emerson's largest pneumatics factories, the Eger factory has been offering products and services for machine manufacturing and industrial automation for more than 50 years.

As Manufacturing Engineering Director, you will lead all aspects of machining, assembly, machining and facility maintenance, automation, and project management groups.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • drive the continuous technological development of machining processes and optimization of processes for internal and external material flow (machining and assembly).

  • lead the automation, digitization and optimization of the whole operation.

  • lead the design, construction and implementation of new assembly technology, production cells and test equipment (mechanical and electrical).

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Graduate of higher technical education such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (preferred Mechanical Engineering);

  • Minimum of five years of managerial experience

  • Strong manufacturing background, with a focus on engineering.

  • Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in English and Hungarian.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • MSc and/or MBA degree

  • Experience with SAP
