What you'll be challenged to do:

BCE Engineers, a Division of TranSystems is a 70-person office that provides consulting services for mechanical, electrical, low voltage, and life safety in Fife, WA. As weve grown over the last 35 years, were proud to have maintained the friendly atmosphere, family-first mentality, and no-ego attitude that have become trademarks of our business. Our internal culture forms the foundation of our practical approach to design, where we focus on providing maintainable, cost effective, and energy efficient solutions. Our engineers enjoy working on a diverse range of projects in a variety of sectors, including schools, military, healthcare, municipal, institutional, commercial, and multi-family residential.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

- - Design innovative and efficient plumbing and HVAC systems for new and existing buildings

- - Size, coordinate, and specify HVAC equipment and plumbing fixtures and equipment

- - Calculate and analyze loads to ensure efficiency and maximize sustainability

- - Draft in AutoCAD and Bluebeam

- - Review drawings using Revit

- - Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines Maintain working knowledge of codes and regulations

- - Prepare documentation for permit applications

- - Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and provide construction support to contractors
