BAE Systems Program Manager II in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Job Description

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

Join a dynamic team, in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.

C4ISR's Adaptive Communications and Sensing product line has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager II to join the team. The Product Line is well positioned for growth in the coming years and is looking for a dynamic individual to join us. The program manager will work on international contracts, lead assigned program activities, impact cross-functional relationships through multiple life cycle phases, and have an opportunity to support key strategic captures. This role will be based in Fort Wayne, IN with the potential for hybrid remote work when on-site presence is not required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with international business

  • Experience with life cycle management

  • Experience integrating scope, schedule and budget for the successful execution of the programs objectives

  • Working knowledge of defense contract type and the risk associated with each

  • Proven track record working with financial analysts to achieve all financial objectives for the program using Earned Value Management techniques

  • Ability to lead cross functional teams (ie Engineering, Finance, Operations, etc.) in the execution of complex technical tasks

  • Exhibit sound interpersonal skills to interface, coordinate, and negotiate with company personnel, customers, and suppliers

  • Exercise discretion and independent judgement in the performance of PM duties

  • Ability to develop and execute a program schedule and subsequently track status against that schedule

  • Actively manage customer relationships to maintain a win-win of program execution and future business

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Master s degree

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or DAWIA Level II/III

  • Have taken negotiation, stake holder management, leadership or export controls courses

  • Working knowledge developing proposals for new business pursuits

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $115110 - $195660

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
