Job Summary: As a shipping clerk, you will be responsible for handling the logistical aspects of shipping and receiving goods. Your primary duties will include preparing shipments, verifying orders, organizing inventory, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely delivery. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Receive and process incoming shipments. Inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices. Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading and shipping labels. Pack and label items for shipment using appropriate packaging materials. Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries. Track shipments and update records as necessary. Maintain organized and clean work areas, including storage areas and shipping/receiving docks. Communicate with internal departments to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Handle any shipping-related issues or discrepancies that may arise. Follow all safety protocols and regulations when handling and shipping hazardous materials.
