What will you do? *Work with an outstanding finance team in a key role as an *Accountant.  You will prepare financial reports to track the Mission Point's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related activities.

• Monthly reconciliation of cash accounts.
• Prepare and posts journal entries.
• Update and reconciles all assigned workpapers monthly.
• Review assigned financial statements monthly for reasonableness and completeness.
• Assists with cost report preparation.?
• Assist with the annual budget process.
• Support annual audit by gathering necessary account information and documents.
• File required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Education, Training, and Experience:?

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.?
• 3+ years of accounting experience 

Specific skills, knowledge, and abilities:?

• Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and accounting.?
• Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.?
• Highly proficient with accounting software.?
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.?
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.?
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.?
• Skilled Nursing / long-term care facility experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel?
