Aims Community College Building Systems Control Specialist in Greeley, Colorado

The Building Systems Control Specialist position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of buildings across multiple campuses. The position is responsible for specific systems maintenance, and the technical requirements and knowledge in keeping college buildings functioning at a high level.

Minimum Hiring Annual Salary: $51,580.00 Maximum Hiring Annual Salary: $54,159.00 To attain the maximum annual salary, employee must meet all minimum qualifications plus: 5 (five) years of additional applicable work experience and/or degrees higher than minimum qualification degree. Degrees higher than the minimum qualification degree can be used in combination with additional work experience. The stated salary amounts are not guaranteed in the event employment ends with Aims during any fiscal year.

HVAC Operational Controls: Schedules maintenance activity to prolong the life of older equipment, assure usefulness and safety of equipment to minimize breakdowns, failures and hazards. HVAC Operations: Plan, develop, prioritize, coordinate and participate in the efficient and economical HVAC repair work. Responsible for accurate record keeping system for the maintenance, upkeep, and repairs of equipment and systems. Responsible for all safety procedures, related to performance of above mentioned work, being implemented and followed. Perform complex activities as needed on HVAC equipment and systems such as: design, layout, and installation. Responds to work orders and/or work requests involving HVAC equipment (such as: comfort concerns, equipment failures, etc.), determines the best course of action to take. Responsible for the calibration of sophisticated energy management, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic controls to ensure optimum performance and energy efficiency.
