Design, develop, implement and provide ongoing support of DeltaV process control and automation systems including process network infrastructure, servers, workstations, panels, wireless infrastructure, and other hardware elements as needed for continuous and batch processes according to S88 standards. The Engineer will engage in pharmaceutical validation and automation processes following SOP, cGMP, GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11. Ability to work with cross functional teams including process engineers, operations and validation teams. Assume a team leader role. Troubleshoot complex software and process issues. Must be able to do shift work, work weekends and work extended hours when required to meet project deadlines. Travel/relocation to various unanticipated worksites through the U.S. as required. May work remotely. Base annual salary: $169,229.Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field and 5 years of automation engineering (DeltaV) experience (or a Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field and 3 years of automation engineering (DeltaV) experience). All qualifying experience must include: authoring functional and design specifications; using data historians (DeltaV Continuous Historian and PI Historian); graphics packages (iFix); reviewing vendor design documents to ensure user compliance with requirement specifications; executing software changes; execution of FAT/SAT; working on projects in a system integrator role.
