A growing distribution warehouse in Richmond, VA has an excellent opportunity for experienced walkie rider operators. We are offering great pay, benefits, and stability. We are looking for candidates with great attendance, great attitudes, and a willingness to excell in a fast-paced work environment.

salary: $17.99 - $18 per hour

shift: Third

work hours: 5 PM - 3 AM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Sunday through Thursday 5:00PM until the work is done

• Perform a safety check on Power Jack / Forklift to be used and insure that all other safety devices are functioning properly.

• Place pallets on Forklift / Power Jack and operate along assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets or Vox Audio Communication System (where available).

• Transport completed palletized customer order to shipping dock staging area.

• Ensure count accuracy, record counts on appropriate forms and visually inspect for damaged product.

• Hand wrap completed pallet / customer order, label and ready the order for shipment.

• Rotate date sensitive stock, keep work areas clear and clean, complete work sheets' documentation as required.

• Rotate between selecting orders and loading trailer as assigned.

• Perform general housekeeping duties and keep warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean as required.

• Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, or attach re-charger and complete vehicle inspection checklist.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working weekends
