Kichler is seeking a Vice President, eCommerce to be part of their senior leadership team, to expand the business growth and profitability of our ecommerce customers, participate in setting commercial strategy and direction of the business, and share responsibility for their channels overall business results. Reporting to the Executive Vice President Sales for Kichler, the Vice President eCommerce will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing the eCommerce related activities of the company. A successful candidate will have the ability to develop, implement and lead Kichler’s integrated eCommerce business, including: marketing, creative development, merchandising, inventory, web-store operations and application management.
Responsibilities of this position include:
Deliver growth to both Kichler’s eCommerce customers as well as grow Kichlers market share.
Develop and execute our eCommerce Channel vision, business strategy and capability.
Ensure healthy existing and new key market relationships.
Designs and recommends online sales programs and sets short and long-term sales strategies (pricing, incentive and fulfillment) to ensure channel profitability.
Develops and executes business plans with the goal of maximizing online opportunities and market share growth.
Develops marketing programs targeted to online sales, including channel and customer specific programs and calendars.
Works closely with the Executive Vice President Sales to establish goals, budgets and forecasts and monitor those results on an ongoing basis.
Works closely with the Vice President Marketing to develop marketing strategies and the annual channel marketing plan. Collaborates on a regular basis on programs and promotions.
Maintain contact with all sales channels, product, operations and customer care to provide input as to product needs, quality and pricing information.
Seeks, evaluates, and approves new eCommerce accounts.
Develops and maintains IMAP policy, strategies, and enforcement.
Works with various internal departments to continually develop systems and procedures to better serve eCommerce customers.
Manages and executes various account-specific projects and growth initiatives.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related work experience equivalent. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
· Minimum of 10+ years of demonstrated experience in merchandising and eCommerce with specialty retail or premium brands.
Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
Proven track record to lead others and collaborate cross-functionally.
Demonstrated experience developing new profitable business relationships in eCommerce channel.
Experience with eCommerce demand generation.
