Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensure the quality and conformity of the products from suppliers
• Ensure performance of quality side of the production flow, in close collaboration with the procurement team and production teams, the availability of parts on time for the production flow
• Support SPQM on supplier evaluations as needed by measuring supplier quality performance.
• Support Quality Manager and Quality Assurance in management of supplier related topics in production flow
• Manage supplier non-conformities to ensure timely closure and documentation in the quality information system.
• Lead technical aspects of corrective actions, 8-D's, and other continuous improvement projects related to suppliers
• Maintain and update the non-conformance management software technical database as needed related to suppliers
• Process and eradicate supplier concessions and manage pre-releases
• Guarantee supplier compliance with the reference system associated with the industrialization process for minor design changes, process changes, and interruptions of more than 24 months.
• Define incoming inspection policies, with consultation of the SPQM (for supplier risk aspects)
• Work in close collaboration with the teams in charge of the panel and supplier performance, and the industrialization teams
• Support and communicate the culture of continuous improvement, lean, 5S, and quality at the source
• Support / lead Quality initiatives related to supplier quality role
• Perform other related duties as required
Physical/Environmental Scope of Position
• Will be exposed to and handle hazardous wastes as defined in 40 CFR 261.3
• Sit for long periods of time while operating office equipment
• Vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment
• Perform duties requiring kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds periodically
• Subjected to inside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils and other related industrial hazards

Job Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Engineering or related technical discipline preferred
• Experience in manufacturing or supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, data analysis, or a related field is preferred
• ISO9001 and/or AS9100 quality system experience preferred
