Amazon Senior Product Manager, Amazon Freight in London, United Kingdom

Amazon Freight (Amazon's external facing Freight service) is hiring a Product Manager to define the product strategy for Billing & Payments in Europe and achieve a truly exception shipper experience. Join us in building the next big thing for Amazon.

Key job responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of the industry, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience, operator productivity and drive growth

  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

  • Develop product positioning strategies

  • Translate findings into detailed requirements, prototypes or program initiatives

  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact

  • Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders (tech, product teams, finance, marketing, analytics, etc.) tech teams to deliver initiatives and features

  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding

  • Gather customer feedback on product and features to drive continuous improvement

  • Develop metrics and KPIs to track impact

A day in the life

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for gathering customer requirements, define the strategy for the product, planning, implementing, and driving initiatives that improve our product offering. You’ll work with colleagues to understand their areas, learn and expand your knowledge, as well as sharing your own expertise. Together, you’ll identify exciting new opportunities and will take the lead when it comes to designing their implementation.

You’ll encourage and support your colleagues and stakeholders to meet important deliverables, while proactively looking for new, data-backed ways we could do things better. Your work will be integral to your team’s success.

About the team

We are Amazon’s middle-mile logistics technology solution for anyone looking to ship road freight in UK and Europe. We enable customers to ship your palletised shipment (Less-than-Truckload, LTL) or Full-Truckloads (FTL) directly to Amazon UK and EU Fulfilment Centres (FCs) or FTL to non-Amazon facilities at competitive prices.

Basic Qualifications

  • A degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
