Apply online at www.confidentapp.com Billing Customer Care Rep (1675923) \$15.91-19.07 /hour DOE Medford, OR Temp: 2-3 Months; Full Time Culture: Work alongside an outstanding local emergency response company Exposure to a variety of different community experiences Career advancing knowledge Collaborative and team building work environment Daily Workflow: Interacts with patients via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on billing issues and patient balance questions. Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative\'s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or manager for assistance. Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers\' problems and concerns. Maintains customer accounts and records in the patient account customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments. Reviews patient credit balances and initiates refund requests for lead and manager approval. Coordinate with local credit company to oversees collections efforts and ensure that valid information and records are being processed. Responsible to assist customers with financial hardship questions and applications. Sends statements, processes and enters patient payments, and assists Accounts Receivable with balancing. Assists the patient with payment arrangements. We\'re Seeking: High school diploma or equivalent required. One (1) year of Customer Service experience is preferred. Requires basic computer proficiency including experience using Microsoft office, (Word, Excel, Outlook), and a working knowledge of internet, software, and web-based applications. Ability to use office equipment including copier machine, postage machine, folding machine, 10-key, and calculator. Provides excellent customer service to customers and visitors by phone, and in person. Ability to read and interpret documents, regulations, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate information to customers, insurance companies, medical facilities and employees by telephone, in writing and in person. Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, and percentages. Ability to change from one task to another with ease and flexibility. Demonstrates the ability to work independently in a constructive and professional manner; ability to be organized, detail-oriented, problem solve and be a team player.
