JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position: Automotive Parts Manager Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, ordering parts as needed, and ensuring timely delivery. Supervision: Manage a team of parts specialists, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting with parts inquiries, identifying customer needs, and recommending appropriate products. Sales: Drive parts sales by promoting special offers, upselling related products, and actively engaging with customers to increase revenue. Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with parts suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms to ensure competitive pricing and quality products. Quality Control: Inspect incoming parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring that all parts meet the required standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and transactions using computerized systems or manual processes. Problem Solving: Address customer complaints or issues regarding parts, resolving conflicts promptly and effectively. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including environmental, safety, and industry standards. Budgeting: Develop and manage the department budget, controlling expenses and maximizing profitability. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent (a degree in business, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred). Experience: Several years of experience in automotive parts sales, with at least some experience in a supervisory or managerial role. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts and components, as well as knowledge of different vehicle makes and models. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers, team members, and suppliers. Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. Computer Skills: Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems and basic office software.
