The Materials Support will play a crucial role in managing our inventory and optimizing our warehousing operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the storage, distribution, and organization of raw material and finished good products. Improve inventory accuracy and pinpoint problem areas. Your main goals will be to ensure accurate inventory levels, streamline procedures, and maintain a tidy warehouse environment.

This position is part of the Supply Chain & Logistics team located in Guelph, Ontario and will be on-site.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Ensure inventory management control, and accuracy through Inventory classification and innovative strategies.

• Champion Operating Margin expansion “OMX” through efficiencies, and cost reduction initiatives.

• Supporting and work closely with Procurement and Material planning, to ensure efficient inventory level required to meet the production needs.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 3-5 years’ experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field preferable.

• ERP / MRP system knowledge – we especially want to hear from you if you have previously worked with SAP or Infor LN.

• You are a strong critical thinker, problem solver who has a track record of achieving results in a high-performance / metrics-driven culture able to work with minimal supervision.
