At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The ability to represent oneself is necessary for new computing platforms that are meant to have a social and communication component (think: a webcam, or selfie cam). As the Product Manager for Avatars and Perception you will be responsible for developing, shipping, and scaling the Avatars systems and services that are used across the next generation of Augmented Reality (which includes "Mixed Reality" and "Virtual Reality") platforms and products. You will be particularly focused on the aspects of the Avatars system that require perception (computer vision, audio understanding) to understand how the user is expressing themselves and representing them accordingly. You'll also be responsible for other core perception areas, especially those related to humans and Avatars.

The Google Augmented Reality team is a diverse group of experts tasked with building the foundations for great immersive computing and building helpful, delightful user experiences. We're focused on making immersive computing accessible to billions of people through mobile devices, and our scope continues to grow and evolve.
