General Counsel’s Organization, Technology & Innovation Team

This role is on the General Counsel’s Organization, Technology & Innovation team which leads strategy and implementation of technology solutions for the global Legal organization of American Express. The team works in close collaboration with the Legal teams and Operations to drive efficient and effective service for the business.

Responsibilities:

No two days are alike for an American Express Business Analyst, but there are some things you can count on. You will:

  • Act as the product owner for digital solutions

  • Partner with stakeholders in tech and business to develop and deliver workflow automations for Legal services

  • Use data and analytics to identify new and innovative ideas and enhancements

  • Independently deliver workflow solutions using low code/no code workflow platforms

  • Manage a backlog of platform requirements, with the ability to sort through pressing needs and articulate priorities to partners and leadership, creating a sense of organization and focused development

  • Participate in program increment planning to coordinate with other teams on the sequencing of feature development that will drive optimal efficiency towards high-level objectives

  • Maintain a prioritized product roadmap and backlog of refined capabilities.

  • Translate complex business objectives into capabilities and features, working closely with technology teams.

Qualifications , Skills, and Experience :

  • 3-5 years’ experience in developing, delivering, and facilitating digital innovation with a user experience-first mindset.

  • Ability to engage in technical discussions on product solutions with business and technical stakeholders.

  • Good knowledge and experience building product feature stories for tech sizing and prioritization.

  • Adept at developing solution options, recommendations, and proposals

  • Proven ability to gather and understand business and user requirements and create workflows and build process maps / wireframes.

  • Experience in product development and delivering on a product roadmap, with experience of Agile methodologies.

  • Experience building with low-code workflow platforms

  • Results driven with the ability to effectively manage initiatives to completion

  • Keen attention to detail, high degree of accountability and integrity

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within the organization.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
