Co-op Term: Jan – May 2019
Summer Intern Term: May – August 2019
Provides technical support for desktop and laptop computers; also provides end user support for hardware and software. Performs project work as directed.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Helps support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN as supervisor requests
Provides end user support for all LAN- based applications
Installs and configures workstations
Maintains and updates computer and software documentation and manuals as required
Must be familiar with standard IT concepts, practices and procedures
Performs a variety of tasks
Participates in off hour on call problem resolution process
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgement
Performs other duties and projects as required:
Assist in Windows 7 to Windows 10 migration
Assist in 0365 Migration for all system users
Assist in creating Windows loads for all BrassCraft computers
Stage new incoming computers to be rolled out to user community
Reinstate Preventative Maintenance on Desktop Computers
Assist in the upkeep of documentation and planning documents
Performs other related duties as needed and assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Enrolled in a full-time, accredited college or university
Pursuing a Bachelor Science in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or Information Systems, or related discipline
Minimum GPA 3.0 cumulative
Previous Co-op or Intern position
Current class standing: Sophomore, Junior or Senior
Available to work 32 – 40 hours a week
Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, printing and etc.
