JPMorgan Chase Senior Product Associate, Chase Travel in Plano, Texas

As a Senior Product Associate in Consumer & Community Banking, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success. Become point of contact for lifecycle for bug/defect management across client and platform teams

Job responsibilities

  • Coordinates with internal development, QA and client teams, to achieve timely and efficient closure of defects

  • Defines and refines the defect management process, Triage defects, assign to the appropriate action owner and accelerate progress. Responsible for ensuring defects are tracked and monitored regularly

  • Communicates any risks and issues to the stakeholders regularly, Produce regular progress reports against defects KPIs. Conduct root cause analysis as needed

  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery

  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience

  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers

  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle

  • Fosters collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams, including development, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to align on product requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Collaborates with the technical team to ensure seamless integration of small business travel features into the existing platform. Define technical requirements, work closely with developers, and ensure smooth implementation and integration. Enable integrations with third-party providers to enhance the small business travel experience.

  • Contributes to Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, weekly grooming, bi-weekly sprint planning and retrospectives.

  • Delivers work using Agile methodology. Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 3-5 years of product owner experience with proven track record of delivery of new products and features for a software product or digital platform.

  • Prior experience with web services integrations.

  • Minimum 3 years of Agile development, technology and innovation experience.

  • Track record of understanding the client experience and turning it from concept to launch

  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle

  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition

  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy

  • Previous experience in managing bug/defect queues

  • Self-starter that excels working independently and collaborating across groups

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • AWS Certification

  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence

  • Experience with travel platforms
