We have an exciting opportunity for a DISTRICT SALES MANAGER with the candidate ideally living in the Phoenix, AZ area. The district covers major markets including Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver and San Francisco. The position requires up to 80% overnight travel.\ \ Objectives:\ - Develop and execute a successful sales and market-penetration strategy to achieve orders and growth plans for the Mahr product lines in the district.\ - This role encompasses account management of existing customers, with a strong emphasis on achieving sales in new and emerging segments.\ - Develop and maintain strong working partnerships with key distributors\ - Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure achievement of company goals and customer satisfaction.\ \ Requirements:\ - Execution of a sales business plan in an outside sales role, as part of a Regional Sales team.\ - Experience in dimensional metrology and associated principles of manufacturing.\ - Experience in outside industrial sales of metrology equipment (preferred) or closely related technical product.\ - Capital equipment sales experience is preferred.\ - Strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to create and develop lasting relationships with both customers and colleagues.\ - Highly self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.\ - A professional approach to sales, account management and business development.\ - The successful candidate will proactively drive personal and company success.\ - A technical degree is required or commensurate military and on the job training.\ \ We want you to succeed.
