We believe a complete education package should include actual, verifiable, on-the-job training covering subjects that are directly related to engineering courses offered at universities. Our training program involves classroom, laboratory and field exposure to construction materials and processes. You will learn and practice ASTM testing procedures covering soils, foundations, concrete, asphalt masonry, mortar, and structural steel. Projects are only as good as the materials that go into them. Understanding how to determine the quality of materials is a valuable skill for anyone involved in engineering, architecture, or construction.

What you'll do: Field Testing of Concrete Compaction Testing of Engineered Fill Density Control of Hot Mix Asphalt Sampling and Testing Masonry Grout and Mortar Compression Testing of Concrete Specimens Laboratory Testing of Soils, aggregates and Hot Mix Asphalt

What it takes to be successful in this role: Current student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, Geology or closely related field required No Experience Required - We Will Train! ACI Certifications a plus! Must have Basic Math, Calculator and Computer Skills Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication Must be able to read and understand work plans Must be able to work off shifts and overtime Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record (required)

Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently. Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound. Ability to kneel and squat occasionally Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold) Ability to climb occasionally
