This role will prepare food for daily (M-F) distribution following pre-defined menus meeting timebound requirements andfood safety standards and also serve as back up driver on an as-needed basis.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the preparation, retherm and packing of meals for distribution;
• Follow food safety, sanitation and temperature controls;
• Assist with clean up of kitchen, pack area and other areas as directed;
• Perform general utility duties as directed;
• Preparation of components and other food products per menu requirements;
• Drive company vehicles to deliver food products to customers;
• Load vehicles with food product;
• Maintain vehicle records as required;
• Maintain food safety and quality of deliveries;
• Assist with sanitation and housekeeping of the facility;
• Pack food products and components accurately;
• Complete all required recordkeeping;
• Participate in all required company training;
• Other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications Include:

• Cooking Experience (Institutional Preferred);
• Operate equipment: Convection Ovens, Warmers, Pallet Jack, etc.;
• Able to follow written recipes and cooking/packaging instructions;
• Have valid Class E or better MO Driver's license with a good driving record;
• Must have current DOT medical card (or are able to pass the DOT medical exam) and also must successfully pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening;
• Able to drive assigned company vehicles and deliver food products to customer homes/sites;
• Able to meet employer's attendance standard.
