I.PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Under the direction of the PVD supervisor sets, loads and runs the PVD Machine according to prescribed programs. Adjusts process parameters to achieve optimum results. Performs minor preventive maintenance and repairs. Performs housekeeping activities as needed.

II.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setup, load, and run the PVD machine.

  • Adjust Process parameters to achieve optimum results.

  • Inspect Quality of parts after the PVD Process.

  • Completes all documentation required.

  • Perform minor preventive maintenance and repairs.

  • Verify oil levels, water temperature, and gases flows.

  • Sample color of parts using electronic equipment.

  • Perform housekeeping activities in the PVD area.

  • Adhere to and promote all company safety polices and procedures.

IV.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Ability to read and write English.

  • Basic knowledge of electricity.

  • Mechanical ability and use of hand tools.

  • High school diploma (desired).

V.PHYSICAL DEMAND

  • Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.

  • Frequent lifting.

  • Use of small hand tools.

VI.WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Working in clean room environment.

  • Moderate noise level.

  • Work standing most of the time.
