Guthrie AVP, IT Applications - IT Administration - Full Time in Sayre, Pennsylvania

Summary:

The AVP of IT Systems will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning, execution, and management of our healthcare organization's information technology systems. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT services and infrastructure across the organization. The successful candidate will lead IT operational planning, project management, and the implementation of new technologies to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and data security.

Education:

Bachelor Degree required.

Experience:

•Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management within the healthcare sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

•Strong understanding of healthcare IT regulations and standards

•Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects and leading cross-functional teams.

•Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

•Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

•Experience with modern healthcare IT systems, electronic health records (EHRs), and digital health technologies.

•Strong financial acumen, with experience managing IT budgets and resources.

•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Essential Functions

•Lead the development and implementation of the IT strategy and roadmap, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives.

•Oversee the management of IT applications, and support services to ensure high availability, security, and scalability.

•Direct the planning and execution of major IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and new technology deployments.

•Foster innovation by researching and recommending new technology solutions to improve patient care, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

•Ensure the protection of IT assets and the integrity, security, and privacy of information in compliance with regulatory requirements.

•Manage relationships with vendors and external partners to secure advantageous terms and ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products.

•Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.

•Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

•Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to identify and address IT needs and challenges.

•Provide strategic oversight of data management and analytics initiatives to support decision-making and performance improvement efforts.
