This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-liftorbital launch vehicle capable ofroutinelycarrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar,and beyond.Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was craftedfrom the beginningto be human-capable. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedication and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. As part of a hard-working and accomplished team, you will be working at the intersection of program management, engineering, operations, coordinated supply chain, finance, and quality organizations. The technical project manager is the glue that binds the project together and has the highest sense of ownership among the team. This role owns team efficiency while ensuring that the right people are working together to solve problems and deliver results to meet our high-reaching mission. You will collaborate with the Fluids Director, New Glenn Stage 1 and drive to hit cost, schedule, technical design landmarks while leading emergent risk & opportunity for New Glenn's booster stage major Block 2 evolution. This role requires excellent organizational skills to ensure design, development, qualification, and production hardware of the block 2 fluid system is delivered to New Glenn Stage 1. This role will require you to reach across many partner organizations as both supplier of design definition and customer of support organization to understand their outstanding needs that enable ultimate success of Block 2's fluid system. Excellent written and oral communication skills will be required to effectively connect with Blue Origin internal organizations across multiple sites as well as a diverse supply base. The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly frame an objective problem statement and calibrate to their audience in a way that acquires help when needed and builds confidence problems are well understood and efficiently worked. The ideal candidate is hard-working when it comes to achieving success to the point it is infectious among the broader team. This role will present status, risks & opportunities, variances, and recovery plans to engineering and program management while quickly adapting to dynamic business rhythms.
