Job Description: As a contracts associate he or she will work directly with L3Harris’ customers and L3Harris team members and be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned contracts, including reviewing, preparing, revising, negotiating, and analyzing contract documents.

Essential Functions:

  • Cradle-to-grave contract management activities on a variety of US Government and International contracts.

  • Working knowledge of the FAR/DFARS is mandatory, and experience with ITAR and EAR is desired.

  • Review terms and conditions in the contract and ensure it is consistent with Datron’s proposal and company policies.

  • Prepare quote and proposal letters.

  • Enter sales orders in Datron’s ERP system.

  • Provides supplemental information regarding the contract to team members.

  • Maintain and organize contract files electronically

  • Write customer correspondences.

    Qualifications:

  • Requires practical knowledge of job area. Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of US Government Contract experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of US Government Contract experience.

  • Working knowledge of the FAR/DFARS is mandatory with exposure to ITAR and EAR desired.

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $67,500-125,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
