Responsibilities:

  • Perform repair maintenance, troubleshooting or modification of engine parts in the workshop.

  • Perform cross-functional jobs in the repair operations process with a focus in Painting, Sheetmetal and Plasma Spray.

  • Participate in production linearity projects and setup, housekeeping and other workshop activities as instructed by the supervisor.

  • Upkeep & maintain all operational tooling and fixtures.

  • Perform various painting and bench repair works such as masking, blending, inserts & broken studs removal/replacement per technical manuals.

  • Interpret rework dimensions & understand the requirements from technical blue – prints.

  • Inspect work using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.

  • Assist line supervisor in their daily operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline.

  • Actively support and participate in EH&S, Quality, Ethics and Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives.

  • Perform various other duties as assigned by Cell IC/Workshop Engineer/Manager.

Requirements

  • NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or any other related engineering discipline.

  • 2 years of relevant experience in either paint shop and Sheetmetal is essential.

  • Experience in repair in the aerospace industry is a plus.

  • Self-motivated to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.

  • Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.

  • Commit to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.
