Blink is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager to lead the quality control of consumer electronics project and develop the next generation of safety and security products. The successful candidate is encouraged to come up with creative solution that deliver results. This role will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment together with their teammates.

Key job responsibilities

• Incoming material inspection (IQC) and warehouse management

• First article inspection (FAI) report checking and confirm with approval sheet and SPEC

• SMT/DIP/FATP process and WI (SOP) checking

• Performance of products sampling checking (e.g. motion detection, waterproof)

• Monitor factory Final Quality Control (FQC) inspection result and track/resolve issues

• APP function testing for QC samples (OBA)

• Support program status review from pilot run to mass production stage

• Performance and Cosmetic Confirmation on Blink products

• Develop and Execute a Quality Improvement Plan

• New Project on-site Support

• Support Mass Production Improvements

• Responsible for Sustaining Engineering on Existing Products:

Generating and tracking product change requests to completion on existing products

Testing returned units and feedback failure modes to our quality manager and factories

Analyzing failure modes of returned units, warranty replacements and Amazon returns

Engineering testing of models in production to verify they meet product specifications

Periodic incoming product inspection and testing

A day in the life

You will be working with an unique and gifted team of product managers and engineers to develop exciting Doorbell and Camera products of Blink. The team faces a challenging task of balancing cost, schedule, and performance requirements, and works in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment. This role will be conducting detailed routine inspection and contributing to quality management and improvement solutions, while demonstrating professional quality accomplishment and technical competence.

Basic Qualifications

• 810 years of quality management experience in Consumer Electronics • Familiar with quality control theory and method from pilot run to mass production • Good understanding of reliability testing and destructive experiment • Experienced in Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering for Consumer Electronics products • Familiar with consumer products specs and related function test procedure • Good at communicating between suppliers and engineering team on quality and testing. • Final Quality Control (FQC) on products for each shipment. • Be proactive on finding issues on production and solve them in advance; • Bachelor's degree • English and Chinese writing and speaking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of CAD file; engineering background on mechanical or electrical is preferred. • At least 5-year experience on QC management or supplier management • Willing to travel and stay in Dongguan and Malaysia CM in the week or weekend if needed.
