Job Information

The Parts Manager is responsible for the execution of the development strategies and the growth of the current Parts business division and overview of the sales activities. He/She is focused on understanding the needs of the market and providing the necessary support to the dealers and individual clients. He/She works in a growing digital-centric environment managing the end-to-end sales and reporting processes.

Role & Responsibility

  • Responsible for the regional sales processes, revenue growth, and improved end-customer experience and satisfaction (through parts availability, leadtime, marketing, pricing and packaging)

  • Explore additional growth opportunities to drive new revenue to the organization

  • Actively manage the implementation of pricing strategies in the parts business division and provide market feedback on pricing strategy

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with another departments (Aftermarket Operations, Aftermarket product Support and Aftermarket Business Development) to provide all-in-one tailored solutions to customers

  • Manage and control dealer’s parts inventory based on market demands trends and predictions and provide market forecast to Aftermarket Operations

  • Responsible of the implementation of best practices and the continuous improvement of sales models and processes

  • Perform regular business reviews and manage resource planning accordingly

  • Support dealers in the identification and generation of new prospects by developing strategies and action plans to convert them into key accounts

  • Identify dealers’ gaps and needs and provide tailored training programs to supplement them

  • Work with key performance metrics and dashboards on the dealership level, ensuring that performance drivers are spotlighted

  • Manage, meet, or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and profit targets, Protection Plus, Machine IQ sales and Service Opportunities (End-Customer loyalty and End-Customer Retention)

  • Use provided revenue and profit reports and provide action plans based on the results

  • Analyze new market trends, business opportunities, and market segments in the global and local landscape

  • Manage the achievement of goals aligned with costumer needs/supported by sales and marketing planning

  • Manage, implement and leverage CRM tools/Sales Lead-Management and its processes providing insights and a better management of dealers towards customer relationships

Job Requirement

Hard Skills:

  • University degree in a technical discipline, Business management, Marketing or related field

  • Experience in sales management and business development

  • Knowledge of market insights and industry trends

  • Knowledge of budgeting process and financial planning

  • Knowledge of systems/tools for revenue profit reporting and forecasting

  • Ability to identify insights and analyze data to ensure the continued growth and success of the business and delivering results

  • Inventory management

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 360 (in particular Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Use of digital communication channels (e.g., teleconferencing, web, voice) and tools (e.g., Ms Teams, WebEx, Zoom)

  • Ability to understand and interpret business metrics, indicators, and KPIs
