This position will drive innovative integrated business planning capability, in line with the planning strategy for Depuy Synthes. Critical to building these new capabilities will be driving foundational capabilities in the core planning systems and evolving IBP to an E2E value stream focus with an accelerated evolution towards sophisticated analytics and autonomous planning capabilities.

The role reports into the IBP Manager for Spine and will partner closely with Global Planning Leaders, Commercial, Marketing, Regional Supply Chain teams, Finance, E2E Supply Chain and Value Stream Leaders to ensure that the Spine IBP plan is consistent with platform objectives and performance targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the IBP strategy and processes to ensure the Spine portfolio of products achieves optimum efficiency and maturity globally.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive the 5 steps of the IBP process, focusing on demand plan, capex, inventory management, and business target setting

  • Develop IBP maturity and drive closed-loop IBP actions to align demand, supply, capex & inventory plans with market trends and business targets

  • Support Executive IBP reviews and partner closely with Commercial, Marketing, Global Plan leaders, Regional Supply Chain teams, Finance, E2E Planning and Value Stream Leaders ensure plan alignment

  • Own global metrics (OTIF, MAPE/BIAS, Backorders, Inventory/DOS, Excess & Obsolete, IBP maturity, Team Efficiency metrics)

  • Proactively identify potential gaps to financial goals and business plans and develop action plans for gap closure

  • Govern process for regional/global demand plan validation, consolidation, and integration of regional market intelligence

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting & business analytics

  • Support long range business/scenario planning (12-36 months horizon) for inventory & capex investment (bridge with regions)

  • Drive planning process improvement for IBP, moving towards autonomous planning supported by sophisticated analytical capabilities

  • Support E2E Platform Teams with functional analytics and insights to optimize E2E metrics

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Science or related field is required.

  • Data Analytics experience required

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Supply Chain Planning experience in a healthcare or similarly complex, regulatory dependent Sector with growing levels of responsibility

  • Proven track record to successfully implement IBP processes and strategies

  • Strong business acumen with in-depth Planning experience and understanding of E2E supply chain principles

  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently in a structured and driven way. Leading priorities and providing reliable results

  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity, build positive relationships considering diverse perspectives & styles and gain cross-functional support to deliver on strategy and objectives.

  • Basic knowledge of MRP and ERP systems (SAP/JDE) and experience with Advanced Planning Systems (OMP/Kinaxis/APO)

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
